T1R EDC Thrower

Love this light! Small but packs quite a punch. I got the SFT40 version and, despite the low cri, has pretty good tint with no visible geen.

Compared to an SFT40 emitter the FFL throws a considerably smaller spot. I've been playing with different optics and kinda love it with a frosted medium angle tir.

The blue anodizing is bright and really stunning, with great finish quality. I don't know why but these are just super appealing with the short tube!

I find the T1R really appealing, but in some ways I can't really explain it. While it's nice that it comes with both battery tubes, the fact that it includes the smaller cell is really nice since I don't have anything else that takes that. I've been using it exclusively with the shorter cell and it makes this little thick thrower work as a bulky-but-pocketable light.

Switch has good action and everything works flawlessly, the only physical item of note is some wear through on the anodizing on the bottom of the short tube.

The beam itself with the SFT40 has some ring artifacts and some subtle irregularities around the edge of the hot spot, but you have to be wall hunting to notice those. In use outdoors I never detect either.

This is another FFL with a strong magnet, in fact it's strong enough that the included 22430 cell can be surprisingly hard to remove without some sort of tool to grab hold of it. If I were planning to regularly swap batteries out of this I'd find that more troublesome, but since I pretty much leave the cell in it full time and use the built in charging more often than not, it hasn't been a big issue.

I got this light a long time ago when it was pre-order and Osram avaiable. Great thrower with range no other flashlight can achieve in this sizs. Sligthly overdiven led but it still works :)

Again at the sale price this light is hard to beat! Love the smaller size with the short tube, but I also like using it with a 21700 when needed. Has some pretty good punch with the sft40!
