PL47G2

Due to multiple other excellent FF light purchases and the excellent customer service I received on my last PL47g2 order, I ended up buying another PL4g2 with all red aux lights in 3700k. Ivy from customer service is really great to deal with on all inquiries or issues. My previous PL47g2 with the malfunctioning aux was replaced and is now awesome and this new custom all red aux PL47g2 is awesome. I didn’t realize how great the 5000k FFL color was until the replacement arrived. I think the malfunctioning blue aux light was operating with the main leds to make the tint look 6500k’ish. Now, WOW. I really like them both….Thank you Ivy🙏

Many people say that a 21700 sized headlamp is impractical due to the large size. The way this battery sits behind the emitter helps reduce the length and the extra width of the head helps add thermal mass to help dissipate heat. I ended up using this headlamp to fix my water main that burst. I was in a small trench with a small headlamp that was recommended and it died within two hours. I got this flashlight out and it lasted two nights working on my pipes with double the brightness as my compact headlamp. When you’re doing actual work, the weight of this headlamp is negligible but the battery capacity is worth its weight.

Excellent right angle multi-emitter combo.

My first impressions out of the box is the odd proportions as the head sticks out quite far. But after holding it in the hand, I realize that the balance and ergonomics is pretty sound and comfortable. The elongated head allows me to maintain a light grip without feeling that it will fall off, and with a battery installed, balances really well too. One downside of this design is that it's probably not really all that suited as a headlamp, as this is a rather heavy light (which is actually a good point for build quality on the flip side)

I went with the 5000k FFL351A emitters for this, and am very pleased with the rendering. Against my Nichia 519A 5000k lights, this is surprisingly neutral and renders colors even better to my eye.

Turbo is incredibly bright, but does not sustain for long, although for my uses, it's likely going to be middle brightness for most of the time which the light seems to sustain very well without much heat.

Well, always been happy with my FF light purchases till today. This PL47 with the ffl351a 5000k has the blue tint I was not wanting. On top of that one of the blue aux lights stays on with the main light and messes up the moonlight mode…. My EO7 xp-l 5000k looks much more neutral which was my blue light tint limit.
