I pre-ordered several of these and two have so far arrived, and I'm blown away. Nearly everything has been improved upon in some way. The light is significantly smaller than the previous version, it's a very small flashlight.
The finish and overall look is stunning, the button light looks great, the revision D lume 1 driver seems as perfect as it gets for a light of this size. Heat seems to be handed very well despite the size (of course if you're using turbo too much anything will get very hot), sustained outputs before stepdowns are very good for a light of this size, and new anduril version's extra features are a nice touch. The threads on both sides of the battery tube are larger and more durable, and the new o-rings are excellent, with no problems with squishing or not fitting properly like some previous models occasionally had if too much grease got on them.
The only 'fault' I can think of is not having matching colored magnetic tail caps at the time of this review. I think most users would have still preferred that.
Ultimately if you love feature packed, very bright lights in a very small package, this is your light.
The red is similar to the previous reds, with a nice metallic sheen that is difficult to capture in photos. The black looks very stealthy with the black button and bezel, and really makes the aux led colors pop. A black pocket clip would probably look even more amazing.

Well where even to start with the good things...
This guy is very small for a 21700 light, very well build, gorgeous MAO, super nice diffused aux. The springs are beefy, emitters perfectly symmetrical as is the beam which is the perfect mix of flood and throw if i ever saw one. FFL351 4000k rosy does trash everything i own without a doubt. The sustained brightness for two hours is shocking even though i could not measure it. After that it's 45min on lower levels left, tested with a 6000mah battery. It is honestly everthing i ever wanted.
Has the E07X met expectations? The build quality is excellent. My unit is red, and it looks fantastic in person. The XPL-HI LEDs at 5000K provide a large dose of light. The dUV measurement, taken by me, is around 0.0020, and I detected no greenish tints in the beam. It offers a perfect combination of flood and throw, making it my favorite flashlight for walks with my dog in the dark forest. Highly recommended!
Vergleichsweise klein und relativ leicht, aber hohe Turbo-Leistung. Allerdings, mit dem mitgelieferten FEB 6000mAh Akku gibts sehr bald einen harzen Stepdown.
Mit einem Molicel P45b dauert das Feuer etwas länger. Heiss wird aie allemal.
Die AUX sehen grossartig aus! Mag das Lämpchen!

User Interface: (Anduril V2)
This flashlight uses the open-sourced Anduril user interface.
By default, this flashlight begins in Simple UI with 5 brightness levels. Enter the hidden Advanced UI to access additional features and more configuration options. Details can be found in Anduril User Guide.
Charging
E07X Cannon features an intelligent 2A battery charger. For optimal charging, use a USB-C port that can source at least 5V 2A. Upon the start of charging, the side-switch illuminates red. When charging is complete, the red indicator turns off. A flashing red indicator indicates a charge fault.
For battery safety, cells below 3V are pre-charged at 100mA before the full 10W charge starts, transitioning to constant voltage, and ending with trickle-charging. The charger includes a 10-hour safety timer to prevent extended charging.
While not recommended, the flashlight may be used while charging, but if operated at higher power levels than the charging rate, the battery will not be charged.
Battery Level Indicator
Anduril2 UI uses the front RGB auxiliary LEDs to indicate the current battery level upon turn-off. The colors correspond as follows:
This post-off display can be turned off or configured in Anduril.
Anduril 2 is an open-sourced software and distributed under the terms of GPLv3. The source can be accessed here.
Operation Notes
- E07X Cannon is a high-performance flashlight and can generate a lot of heat during operation. Please understand that this is not a toy and should be handled with safety.
- To prevent accidental activation of the flashlight, it is recommended to lock-out the flashlight (4 clicks from off to lock or unlock) before storage, or unscrew the body slightly as a mechanical lock-out.
- E07X Cannon has low-voltage protection which cuts off power at 2.8V. It is recommended to begin recharging the cell before this happens to increase battery longevity.
